
Balanced Bodies have almost 10 years experience in professional sport and training services. We aim to make training a fun and effective way to get fit and stay fit. We will teach you how to train and avoid injury, how to vary your training to keep it interesting, how you can improve your diet and how to lose weight without starving yourself. Balanced Bodies Trainers have experience in professional and recreational sport, which ensures we can help you achieve your goals.
What types of training can be done?
Balanced Bodies can create a training program for virtually any sport or activity. We have a solid history in Triathlon, Football, Basketball, Athletics, Cycling, Skiing and Swimming. A good idea is to set a goal from which we can work from. Examples of goals are:- completing the BRW Triathlon
- running a lap of the Tan
- not being sore after skiing for a day
- winning the corporate cup
- starting a competitive mixed netball team
As you can see, goals can vary and do not always mean going for Olympic Gold. No matter how big or small you feel that your goal may be, we can help you achieve it by creating a program that has smaller milestones leading to your long term target. Individuals training sessions can be booked, however we recommend establishing a group, which will enhance the fun and motivation, while nurturing a team atmosphere.

Fitness training in your workplace:
Balanced Bodies are flexible with booking arrangements. We can meet you or your group at an arranged location before work, during a break or after hours. We can also visit your workplace and leave from there, or conduct a session onsite - space permitting.
The next step is to find some training partners! Why not put up a notice in your staff room or ask around to see if anyone will join you? It is also possible to form a group of friends who work within close proximity and are able to meet and train together.
What do you need?
Equipment requirements will vary depending on the type of training program. Most sessions will require appropriate footwear and clothing, which we can advise you on before we commence the training program. Towels are recommended. Sports towels are available trough Balanced Bodies.
Special Circumstances?
Balanced Bodies will require a signed declaration of health from each participant. We ask that you inform us of any issues such as blood pressure, heart problems etc. before joining a training session. Most conditions will not exclude you, we will be able to adjust the session to meet your requirements.
